WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of a seven
ton jack for the Water Distribution Maintenance Division; and,
WHEREAS, Central Automotive Supply, Inc. , submitted a
bid in the amount of $1,200.00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Central Automotive Supply, Inc. , is the lowest and
best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Central Automotive Supply, Inc. , in the amount of
$1,200.00 is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City
Manager is hereby authorized to make payment- for same upon
acceptable delivery .
