R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on September 30, 1981, bids were received for
demolition of the Magnolia Park swimming pool; and,
WHEREAS, Simien Construction Company submitted a bid in
the amount of $21,200.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Simien Construction Company is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI'T'Y OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Simien Construction Company is hereby accepted by
the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute a contract with Simien Construction Company in the amount
of $21,200.00 for demolition of the Magnolia Park swimming pool.
