WHEREAS, on May 6 , 1980, the City of Beaumont entered
into a contract with Kohler and Kohler for the preparation of a
Master Drainage Plan; and,
WHEREAS, in order for this Study to be properly
implemented, additional services must be performed by the Engineer
as are listed below:
(a) Prepare a rated list of all drainage projects out-
lined in the Study based on a rating system
determined by the Engineer and the City. As part of
the rating system, the effectiveness of each project
with respect to Taylor's Bayou Project and existing
outfall conditions will be determined;
(b) Prepare a priority list of approximately 30
projects;
(c ) Prepare cost estimates on this tentative list;
(d) Consult with the City to develop final project to be
accomplished immediately and prepare estimates;
(e) Provide additional services as required .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter
into a contract addendum with Kohler and Kohler for implementation
of the Master Drainage Study with estimated cost of services to be
$16,700 and with a fee not to exceed $20,000.
