WHEREAS, on September 2 , 1981, bids were received for
the construction of an 11-unit T-hangar building, associated
ramps, and taxiways for Beaumont Municipal Airport; and,
WHEREAS, Gary Clark Contractors, Inc. , submitted a bid
in the amount of $229,516.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Gary Clark Contractors, Inc. , is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Gary Clark Contractors, Inc. , is hereby accepted
by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized
to execute a contract with Gary Clark Contractors, Inc. , in the
amount of $229,516.00 for the construction of an 11-unit T-hangar
building, associated ramps, and taxiways at Beaumont Municipal
Airport.
