WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of various
valves, tees, reducers, caps and valve boxes; and,
WHEREAS, Western Pipe and Supply Company submitted a bid
in the amount of $47,835.28; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Western Pipe and Supply Company is the lowest and
best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Western Pipe and Supply Company in the amount of
$47, 835.28 is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City
Manager is hereby authorized to make payment for same upon
acceptable delivery .
