WHEREAS, on September 9 , 1981, the City of Beaumont
entered into a contract with Daniels Building and Construction
Company for remodeling of the City Auditorium; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 3 has been recommended to
provide for the addition of an orchestra lift at a cost of
$145,000.00 ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
Change Order No . 3 to the contract with Daniels Building and
Construction Company , thereby increasing the contract amount by
$145,000.00 for a total of $3 ,898,000.00 .
