BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute ;fin
agreement with Underwood Neuhaus and Company, Inc. , for financial
advisory services in connection with the sale of approximately
$5 million dollars of certificates of obligation, Series 1981 and
approximately $17.5 million dollars of water and sewer revenue bonds,
Series 1982 ; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Underwood Neuhaus and Company,
Inc. , is appointed as underwriter for the sale of waterworks system
refunding bonds, Series 1981, subject to the terms of the bond
purchase agreement to be negotiated at the time of sale.
