WHEREAS, on September 9 , 1981, bids were received for
the purchase of Hot Mixed Cold Laid Asphaltic Concrete; and,
WHEREAS, A & H Asphalt Company of Beaumont submitted a
bid in the amount of $27.95/ton; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by A & H Asphalt Company is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of A & H Asphalt Company is hereby accepted by the
City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute a contract with A & H Asphalt Company in the amount of
$27.95/ton, firm from October 1 , 1981 through March 31, 1982, for
the purchase of Hot Mixed Cold Laid Asphaltic Concrete.
