WHEREAS, on September 2 , 1981 , bids were received for
the purchase of limestone base material; and
WHEREAS, Davidson Construction Materials , Inc. submitted
a bid in the amount of $ 13.90/ton; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Davidson Construction Materials, Inc. is the lowest
and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Davidson Construction Materials , Inc. is hereby
accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby
authorized to execute a contract with Davidson Construction
Materials , Inc. in the amount of $13.90/ton, firm until 3-31-82 ,
for the purchase of limestone base material.
