WHEREAS, on August 26, 1981 , bids were received for
the purchase and installation of chain link fence to be installed
at Fire Station No. 1 as a security and safety measure; and,
WHEREAS, Grime Busters, Inc. , d/b/a United Fence Company
of Beaumont, submitted a bid in the amount of $2 ,717.08 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Grime Busters, Inc. , d/b/a United Fence Company is
the lowest and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT :
THAT the bid of Grime Busters, Inc. , d/b/a United Fence Company in
the amount of $2 ,717.08 is hereby accepted by the City of
Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to make payment
for same upon acceptable delivery and installation.
