WHEREAS, on August 26 , 1981 , bids were received for the
purchase of 5 Sack Ready Mix Concrete from Beaumont Ready Mix,
Inc. , for $55.25/cubic yard add or deduct cement at $3 .90/sack; and
Type III High Early Cement from Cowboy Concrete Corporation for
$59.30/cubic yard; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids
submitted by Beaumont Ready Mix , Inc. and Cowboy Concrete
Corporation are the lowest and best bids and should be accepted;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids of Beaumont Ready Mix, Inc. and Cowboy Concrete
Corporation are hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the
City Manager is hereby authorized to execute contracts with
Beaumont Ready Mix, Inc. and Cowboy Concrete Corporation in the
amounts hereinabove stated.
