WHEREAS, on August 21 , 1981 , bids were received for
the purchase of 2 ,000 feet of 10 inch and 3 ,000 feet of 12 inch
rubber gasket sewer pipe to be placed in inventory and used as
needed; and,
WHEREAS, Ferguson Enterprises submitted a bid in the
amount of $19 ,052.90 ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Ferguson Enterprises is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Ferguson Enterprises is hereby accepted by the
City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute a contract with Ferguson Enterprises in the amount of
$ 19 ,052.90.00 for inventory stock.
