R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on August 26 , 1981 , bids were received for
furnishing two 1 ,000 gallon propane fuel tanks to be used in fire
training exercises at the fire training grounds ; and,
WHEREAS, Carl T. Birdsong, Inc. , submitted a bid in
the amount of $2 ,300.00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Carl T. Birdsong, Inc. , is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Carl T. Birdsong, Inc. , in the amount of $2 ,300.00
is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager
is hereby authorized to make payment for same upon acceptable
delivery .
