WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for the
purchase of a parcel of land needed for the Chinn Road Project
(82-B565-00475) for its appraised value; and,
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the purchase from Mr . H. G. Nichols , Sr. of Parcel No . 24 ,
the same being a 2 .743 acres parcel out of a 139 .21 acre tract out
of City Tax Tract 60 , Plat RS-4 , W. B. Dyches League, to the City
of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, is hereby authorized for the
sum of $32,916 .00.
