WHEREAS, on August 12, 1981 , bids were received for
paving, drainage and sidewalk improvements in Census Tract 20
under the Community Development Block Grant program; and,
WHEREAS, Richard Building & Contracting Company , Inc.
submitted a bid in the amount of $ 105 , 168.25 ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Richard Building & Contracting Company , Inc. , is the
lowest and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT :
THAT the bid of Richard Building & Contracting Company , Inc. is
hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is
hereby authorized to execute a contract with Richard Building &
Contracting Company , Inc. in the amount of $ 105, 168.25 for paving,
drainage and sidewalk improvements in Census Tract 20.
