R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, David Johnson and Pamela Johnson desire to
purchase from the City of Beaumont a 1 ,233.06 square foot remnant
of land out of City Tax Tract 108 , Plat "G" , David Brown Survey;
and,
WHEREAS, said tract is an uneconomic remnant of right of
way which was acquired by the City for the widening and
reconstruction of Stewart Street in the Census Tract 17 Project;
and,
WHEREAS, said tract adjoins property owned by the
purchasers;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby , authorized to execute
a deed to the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto,
to David Johnson and Pamela Johnson for the appraised value of
Three Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars ($325.00) .
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this

Being a 1233.06 square foot parcel of land situated in the David Bro%,n League
and being out of that certain tract conveyed to Leon Jackson and wife, Augua
M. Jackson by virtue of a deed recorded in Volume 773, Page 321 of the Deed
Records of Jefferson County, Texas, said conveyance being the same tract
known as Tract 108, Plat G in the Tax Assessor's office in the City of Beaumont,
the herein parcel being more particularly described by metes and bounds as
follows, to-wit:
For a PLACE OF BEGINNING, a point South 88028134" West, 112.98 feet from
the intersection of the West line of Verone Street and the existing North
line of Stewart Street being the Southeast corner of the herein described
parcel of land;
THENCE South 89035130" U?est, 36,98 feet along the North line of Steuart Street
being the South line of the herein described parcel to a point for corner;
THENCE North 00053'30" East, 32.71 feet along the West line to a point
for corner;
THENCE North 89035130" East, 37.0 feet along the North line of the herein
described parcel to a point for corner;
THENCE South 00053130" West, 33.96 feet to a point for corner being the
PLACE OF BEGINNING of the herein described parcel of land;
CONTAINING 1233.06 square feet of land, more or less.
