WHEREAS, on August 11 , 1981 , bids were received for
furnishing two cash registers for use in the Municipal Court office
for receipting fines, parking tickets, etc. ; and,
WHEREAS, National Office Machines submitted a bid in the
amount of ($3 , 226.50) ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by National Office Machines is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of National Office Machines in the amount of $3 ,226.50
is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager is
hereby authorized to make payment for same upon acceptable
delivery.
