WHEREAS, on July 22, 1981 , bids were received for
furnishing various sizes of concrete pipe, ramneck primer and
ramneck for the Public Works Department; and,
WHEREAS, Gifford-Hill Pipe Company of Houston submitted
the following:

WHEREAS, National Concrete Products, Inc. of Beaumont
submitted the following:
1" Ramneck 29.00/box
1 1/2" Ramneck 35. 00/box
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bids submitted by Gifford-Hill Pipe Company and National Concrete
Products, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids of Gifford-Hill Pipe Company and National Concrete
Products, Inc. in the amounts stated above be accepted by the City
of Beaumont, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to make
payment for same upon acceptable delivery. These prices are firm
for one year.
