WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for the
purchase of property needed as an easement for the Sanitary Sewage
System Improvements Project, Segment 70 Interceptor, for its
appraised value;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the purchase from Elk Construction Company, Inc. of Tract 13,
the same being a 6 ,000 square foot tract of land out of Lots 1, 2,
3 , and 4, Block 29 of the West Oakland Addition and a portion of
the abandoned street right of way lying adjacent of the south line
of Lot 4 or the north line of Lot 10 to the City of Beaumont,
Jefferson County , Texas, is hereby authorized for the sum of
$3,000.00.
