R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on July 29 , 1981, bids were received for the
school sidewalk improvements program; and,
WHEREAS, Mar-Len, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of
$83, 868. 00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Mar-Len, Inc. is the lowest and best bid and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Mar-Len, Inc. is hereby accepted by the City of
Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a
contract with Mar-Len, Inc. in the amount of $83,868. 00 for the
school sidewalk improvements program.
