R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on July 29, 1981, bids were received for the
Lindbergh Drive widening project; and,
WHEREAS, Gulf Coast Industrial submitted a bid in the
amount of $348,130. 00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Gulf Coast Industrial is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Gulf Coast Industrial is hereby accepted by the
City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute a contract with Gulf Coast Industrial in the amount of
$348,130. 00 for the Lindbergh Drive widening project.
