R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on July 15, 1951, bids were received for
furnishing liquid cationic polymer flocculant for the Water
Reclamation Department for a period of year; and,
WHEREAS, Callaway Chemical Company of Georgia submitted
a bid in the amount of 69¢ per pound; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Callaway Chemical Company is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Callaway Chemical company be accepted by the City
of Beaumont, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a
contract with Callaway Chemical Company for the purchase of liquid
cationic polymer flocculant in the amount of 69¢ per pound.
