R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on July 22, 1981, bids were received for the
demolition of Pipkin School; and,
WHEREAS, C. F. Walker Company submitted a bid in the
amount of $24,416.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by C . F. Walker Company is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of C . F. Walker Company is hereby accepted by the
City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute a contract with C . F. Walker Company in the amount of
$24,416.00 for the demolition of Pipkin School .
