WHEREAS, on July 1, 1981, bids were received for
furnishing plastic water pipe for the Water Distribution Division;
and,
WHEREAS, Jones Supply Company submitted the following
bid:
10M Ft. 3/4" Water Pipe @ . 14/ft. $1400. 00
1500 Ft. 1" Water Pipe @ .23/ft. 345. 00
600 Ft. 1 1/2" Water Service Tubing
@ .48/ft. 288. 00
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Jones Supply Company is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Jones Supply Company in the amount of $2 ,033. 00 is
hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager is
hereby authorized to make payment for same upon acceptable
delivery .
