WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for the
purchase of two ( 2 ) parcels of land needed for the Phelan
Connector Project ( 82-B181-00475) for its appraised value;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the purchase from Don Streety of Parcel No. 3 , the same being
5, 896 square feet out of Lots 1 through 5, Block 40, Jarrette
Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, is
hereby authorized for the sum of $48,500. 00; and that the
purchase from Don Streety of Parcel No. 6 , the same being Lots 4 ,
5, and 6 , Block 39, Jarrette Addition to the City of Beaumont,
Jefferson County, Texas, is hereby authorized for the sum of
$19 ,600. 00.
