WHEREAS, on June 25, 1980, the City of Beaumont entered
into a contract with Winter King & Son for the construction of a
new neighborhood fire station on Gladys Street; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed in accordance
with the contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the new neighborhood fire station is hereby accepted and the
City Manager is hereby authorized to make final payment in the
amount of $35,658.84 to Winter King & Son for the construction of
the fire station.
