R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on June 24, 1981, bids were received for paving
and drainage improvements in Census Tract 8 , Project I, of the
Community Development Block Grant Program; and,
WHEREAS, Troy Dodson Construction Company, Inc.
submitted a bid in the amount of $948, 502. 50; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Troy Dodson Construction Company , Inc. is the lowest
and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Troy Dodson Construction Company , Inc. is hereby
accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby
authorized to execute a contract with Troy Dodson Construction
Company , Inc. in the amount of $948,502. 50 for paving and drainage
improvements in Census Tract 8 , Project I.
