WHEREAS, on June 24, 1981, bids were received for the
construction of the Beaumont Community Health Clinic; and,
WHEREAS, Watkins Construction Company submitted a bid in
the amount of $378,800. 00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Watkins Construction Company is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Watkins Construction Company is hereby accepted by
the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute a contract with Watkins Construction Company in the amount
of $378,800. 00 for the construction of the Beaumont Community
Health Clinic.
