R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on March 17, 1981, City of Beaumont entered into a
contract with W. R. Boyd , Inc. for construction of the 1981 Street
Rehabilitation Program, Project III; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No . 1 has been recommended to
revise the contract by providing for the widening of Pine Street
approximately six (6 ) feet on the east side from Hale Street to
Coleman Street to be used as a walking lane;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
Change Order No. 1 to the contract with W. R. Boyd , Inc. thereby
increasing the amount of the contract from $673,936. 43 to
$683,759.43.
