R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on June 25, 1980, the City of Beaumont entered
into a contract with Norstock Building Systems, Inc. for the
construction of a new neighborhood fire station on College Street;
and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed in accordance
with the contract; and,
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Change Order No. 3
deducting $5,117.00 for unused allowances and contingency in the
contract be approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and is hereby, authorized to execute
Change Order No. 3 to the contract with Norstock Building Systems,
Inc. thereby decreasing the contract amount from $948,290. 00 to
$943,173. 00; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the new neighborhood fire
station is hereby accepted and the City Manager is hereby
authorized to make final payment in the amount of $90,537. 30 to
Norstock Building Systems, Inc. for the construction of the fire
station.
