WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont intends to receive bids
and award the sale of $20,000, 000 Street Improvement Bonds , Series
1981, on July 7, 1981; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Official
Notice of Sale, the Official Bid Form, and the Preliminary Official
Statement prepared in connection with the sale of said bonds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the Official Notice of Sale, the Official Bid Form, and the
Preliminary Official Statement, all dated June 23, 1981, prepared
in connection with the sale of $20,000, 000 Street Improvement
Bonds, Series 1981, are hereby approved; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the appropriate City
officials and the City' s financial advisor are authorized to
execute said documents, as may be required, and to distribute same
to prospective purchasers of the bonds.
