R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on June 3, 1981, bids were received for the
1981 Street Rehabilitation Program, Project IV; and,
WHEREAS, W. R. Boyd , Inc. submitted a bid in the amount
of $ 763,223.82; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by W. R. Boyd , Inc. is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of W. R. Boyd , Inc. is hereby accepted by the City of
Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a
contract with W. R. Boyd , Inc. in the amount of $763,223.82 for
the 1981 Street Rehabilitation Program, Project IV.
