WHEREAS, on May 20, 1981 , bids were received for
furnishing maintenance service for all electric
typewriters; and,
WHEREAS, Dr . Typewriter-Xylog submitted a bid in
the amount of $40.00 per typewriter; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Dr . Typewriter-Xylog is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Dr . Typewriter-Xylog be accepted by the City of
Beaumont, and the City Manager is authorized to execute an annual
maintenance contract with Dr . Typewriter-Xylog in the amount of
$40.00 per typewriter.
