WHEREAS, on May 20, 1981 , bids were received for
furnishing an underground piercing tool for the Traffic Operations
Division; and,
WHEREAS, Boehck and Gardner Equipment Company , Inc. of
Houston -submitted a bid in the amount of $6,400.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Boehck and Gardner Equipment Company , Inc. is the
lowest and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Boehck and Gardner Equipment Company , Inc. in the
amount of $6,400.00 is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and
the City Manager is hereby authorized to make payment for said
underground piercing tool upon acceptable delivery .
