R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, informal bids were received for the purchase of
a microprocessor based replacement controller for the Traffic
Operations Division; and,
WHEREAS, Trans-Tronics , Inc. of Fort Worth submitted a
bid in the amount of $ 1 ,750.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Trans-Tronics, Inc. is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Trans-Tronics, Inc. in the amount of $1 ,750.00 is
hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is
hereby authorized to make payment for said microprocessor based
replacement controller upon acceptable delivery .
