R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on May 13, 1981 , bids were received for the
construction of a wading pool at Liberia Park. The wading pool is
part of the park improvements project financed by a UPARR grant;
and,
WHEREAS, Coastal Swimming Pools submitted a bid in
the amount of $27, 884.00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Coastal Swimming Pools is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Coastal Swimming Pools is hereby accepted by the
City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute a contract with Coastal Swimming Pools in the amount of
$27,884.00 for the construction of a wading pool at Liberia Park.
