R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received on May 13, 1981 , for
installation of improvements to the water system to provide fire
hydrants and improve water flow; and,
WHEREAS, John Bankston Construction submitted a bid in
the amount of $73, 113.25; and,
WHEREAS the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by John Bankston Construction is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of John Bankston Construction is hereby accepted by
the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute a contract with John Bankston Construction in the amount
of $73, 113.25 for installation of improvements to the water
system.
