R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on May 13, 1981 , bids were received for
painting and cleaning of a one-million gallon elevated water
storage tank at Liberty and 13th streets; and,
WHEREAS, Lupton Painting Company submitted the only bid
in the amount of $36, 450.00; and,
WHEREAS, said bid exceeded the amount budgeted for said
project and should be rejected;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Lupton Painting Company in the amount of
$36, 450.00 for cleaning and painting the exterior of a one-million
gallon elevated water storage tank at Liberty and 13th streets,
be, and the same is hereby , rejected.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
