WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont has heretofore ordered the
improvement of 23rd Street for a distance of approximately 136 feet;
arid,
WHEREAS, bids were received for the improvements to this
street; and,
WHEREAS, Russ Miller Construction Company submitted a bid
in the amount of $10, 780.00 for said improvements; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Russ Miller Construction Company is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Russ Miller Construction Company in the amount of
$ 10, 780.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager
is hereby authorized to execute a contract for said improvements to
23rd Street for a distance of approximately 136 feet in the amount of
$ 10, 780.00; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby
approves the final assessment paving roll of the above project, said
paving assessment roll being as follows:
