WHEREAS, Mr. & Mrs. Jack Brumley desire to purchase from
the City of Beaumont the following property as shown in Exhibits
"A" and "B" attached hereto and made a part hereof; and,
WHEREAS, said tract is a remnant tract from the Service
Center site;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
a deed to the above referred to property, to Mr . & Mrs. Jack
Brumley for the sum of One Thousand Six Hundred Twenty-Nine and
Sixty Cents ($1 ,629.60) .
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this

A 7' WIDE STRIP OF LAND TO BE CONVEYED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT
TO JACK BRUMLEY, INC.
BEING a 7.00' wide strip of land located along and adjacent to the north
line of the most westerly portion of the tract of land heretofore conveyed
to the City of Beaumont as recorded in Volume 2254, Page 84, Deed Records,
Jefferson County, Texas, the said 7.00' wide strip of land being out of the
south central portion of Lot 22-B of the Hefflebower and Scott Subdivision,
out of the J. W. Bullock Survey, Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, and
described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron rod which marks the most westerly northwest corner
of the said City of Beaumont tract, said BEGINNING CORNER being located in
Lhe east right-of-way line of Lafin Drive, said BEGINNING CORNER also being
the southwest corner of a tract of land heretofore conveyed to Jack Brumley,
Inc. as recorded in Volume M6, Page 301, Deed Records, Jefferson County,
Texas;
THPTCF South 890 51' 22" East along the north line of the City of
Beaumont tract and the south line of the Jack Brumley, Inc. tract a distance
of 582.00' to an iron rod for corner in the east line of said Lot 22-B;
THENCE South 000 08' 18" West along the east line of the said Lot 22-B
a distance of 7.00' to a galvanized pipe for corner;
THENCE North 890 51' 22" West across the said City of Beaumont tract a
distance of 582.00' to an iron pipe for corner in the east line of Lafin
Drive;
THENCE North 000 08' 18" East along the east line of Lafin Drive a
distance of 7.00' to the place of beginning.
