WHEREAS, bids were received for towing away junked motor
vehicles for the City of Beaumont; and,
WHEREAS, Chuck' s Wrecker Service submitted a bid in the
amount of $5.25 per vehicle; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Chuck's Wrecker Service should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Chuck's Wrecker Service is hereby accepted by the
City of Beaumont, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute a contract with Chuck' s Wrecker Service in the amount of
$5.25 per vehicle for towing away junked motor vehicles.
