R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on August 1, 1978, the City of Beaumont entered
into a contract with the Economic Development Foundation to
provide for the advertising and promotion of the City to business
and industry; and,
WHEREAS, said contract is automatically renewed with the
approval of the Economic Development Foundation' s annual budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT there is hereby approved a $51,300 budget for the Economic
Development Foundation for the 1981 fiscal year to finance the
following activities: advertising program to attract new
businesses and industries; publication of a date and sales book;
specialized prospectus brochures; audio-visual materials; and, a
direct mail program.
