R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on September 9, 1980, City of Beaumont entered
into a contract with Daniels Building and Construction Company for
the remodeling of the City Auditorium; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 has been recommended for the
additions as stated in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part
hereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI'T'Y OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
Change Order No. 1 to the contract with Daniels Building and
Construction Company thereby increasing the amount of the contract
from $3,720,659 to $3,753,044.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the

CHANGE ORDER NO. 2
1 APRIL 1981
The General Contractor is directed to make the following changes in
the contract:
1 . Increase allowance for 11 type "SF" light fixtures
to $250 . 00/each. ADD $ 1 , 860 . 00
2 . Add 6 type "SF" fixtures previ-ously deleted. ADD 1 , 320 . 00
3. Install carpet in rooms 107 , 236 , 237 , 242 ,
and 243 in lieu of 1/8" thick vinyl composi-
tion floor tile . ADD 1 , 430 . 00
4 . Revise decorative mouldings on North and
South walls of Auditorium to provide an
enhanced decorative treatment similar to
that noted on the original drawings .. ADD 7 , 500 . 00
5 . Revise moulding design of Proscenium
Arch to provide a decorative treatment
similar to the original design. ADD 9 , 250 . 00
6 . Reinstate vinyl wall covering deleted
by Change Order No . 1 . ADD 3 , 380 . 00
7 . Use DECOUSTIC panels at orchestra pit
in lieu of 2" thick TECTUM panels . ADD 7 , 645 . 00
