WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing sewer pipes
for the Sewer Maintenance Department; and,
WHEREAS, Utility Supply Company submitted the following
bid:
7,000 ft. of 5 in. x 20 ft. SDR 35 Rubber Gasket @ $0.92 ft.
1,400 ft. of 6 in. x 12 1/2 ft. SDR 35 Rubber Gasket @ $0.92 ft.
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Utility Supply Company should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Utility Supply Company in the amounts stated above
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager is
hereby authorized to make payment for same upon acceptable
delivery.
