R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, informal bids were received for furnishing
sixty (60) tons of hot mix hot laid asphaltic concrete for the
Street Department; and,
WHEREAS, Keown Supply Company submitted a bid in the
amount of $1,710.00; and,
WHEREAS, informal bids were received for furnishing
forty-one (41 ) tons and 1,280 pounds of hot mixed asphaltic
concrete for the Street Department; and,
WHEREAS, Keown Supply Company submitted a bid in the
amount of $1 ,186.74; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the informal bids of Keown Supply Company in the amounts
stated above be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City
Manager is hereby authorized to make payments for same upon
acceptable delivery.
