WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing ready-mix
concrete and High Early Type III Cement for the City of Beaumont;
and,
WHEREAS, Beaumont Ready-Mix, Inc. submitted a bid in the
amount of $49.75/cu. yd. add or deduct cement @ $3.40/sack; and,
WHEREAS, Cowboy Concrete Corporation submitted a bid in
the amount of $53.60/cu.yd . for High Early Type III Cement; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids
submitted by Beaumont Ready-Mix, Inc. and Cowboy Concrete
Corporation should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids of Beaumont Ready-Mix, Inc. and Cowboy Concrete
Company in the amounts stated above be accepted by the City of
Beaumont, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to make
payment for same upon acceptable delivery.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
