WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing and
installing playground equipment and the construction of park area
sidewalks at Liberia, Pine Street, and Carroll Street Parks; and,
WHEREAS, Gary Clark Contractors, Inc. submitted a bid
in the amount of $122,671 .00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Gary Clark Contractors, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Gary Clark Contractors, Inc. is hereby accepted by
the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute a contract with Gary Clark Contractors, Inc. in the amount
of $122,671 .00 for furnishing and installing playground equipment
and the construction of park area sidewalks at Liberia, Pine
Street, and Carroll Street Parks.
