WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing various
communications equipment for several departments; and,
WHEREAS, Motorola Communications and Electronics, Inc.
of Houston, submitted a bid in the amount of $102,317 .00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Motorola Communications and Electronics , Inc. should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Motorola Communications and Electronics, Inc. in
the amount of $102,317 .00 is hereby accepted by the City of
Beaumont, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to make
payment for same upon acceptable delivery .
