WHEREAS, bids were received for the reconstruction of
the Livestock Barn at Fair Park; and,
WHEREAS, Richard Defee, Inc. submitted a bid in the
amount of $166,150.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Richard Defee, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Richard Defee, Inc. is hereby accepted by the City
of Beaumont, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
a contract with Richard Defee, Inc. in the amount of $166,150.00
for the reconstruction of the Livestock Barn at Fair Park.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
the day of 1981.
