WHEREAS, bids were received for Project II of the 1981
Street Rehabilitation and Resurfacing Program; and,
WHEREAS, Troy Dodson Construction Company, Inc.
submitted a bid in the amount of $464,977.75; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Troy Dodson Construction Company should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Troy Dodson Construction Company, Inc. is hereby
accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager is hereby
authorized to execute a contract with Troy Dodson Construction
Company, Inc. in the amount of $464,977.75 for Project II of the
1981 Street Rehabilitation and Resurfacing Program.
